A Feminist Organization's Handbook

Regular price $45.00

The Women's Center for Creative Work (WCCW) is a is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to cultivate LA’s feminist creative communities and practices. Since their founding in 2013 they have put on thousands of events and are now a busy creative hub in Los Angeles' Frogtown neighborhood.

This self-published volume is an exportable model of their organization–delineating our thought process, administrative protocols, and ways of working–in hopes they might benefit others organizing and producing in similar ways. The handbook includes a workbook section with pertinent exercises for those starting small arts organizations/creative projects, as well as writings on small arts organizing, transparency, design and community engagement by Courtney Fink, Melissa Lo, Irene Tsatsos, and Dori Tunstall.
